Our story

Our haeranga (journey) started in January 2021 after we felt a pull to connect with te reo Māori (Māori language). To keep accountability and dedicate energy to learning a language as adults, we started with our presence on Kapoata (instagram).

Since 2021, we've connected with those who want to learn te reo Māori in small bite-sized pieces. After a long break (most of 2022), we refreshed our identity and ingoa (name) and embedding the focus of the kaupapa (purpose) into: Iti & Kuti — little changes, done together.

The kaupapa (purpose) is to provide bilingual content and products that serve as iti (little) reminders.
